Would you like to propose a Lifelong Learning course? Then we would very much like to have your suggestion. If a new course has to be established, this can be done after the decision that the course can be given has been taken. Deadline is November 1st.

What is a Lifelong Learning Course?

Lifelong Learning are courses for individuals applying via www.antagning.se. A course offering could be that a number of places in an already existing course is opened up for the general public. Even better, a sub part of an already existing course, to which participation can be totally or partially from a remote location. This would probably make it easier for someone who is already working to participate. Modules in the range beween 1.5 and 4 hp has been recommended. Course content, either on a very basic level, or content close to the forefront of research is extra attractive.

We, at CBH, should now give a suggestion for course offerings for the autumn semester 2023. If a new course has to be established, this can be done after the decision that the course can be given has been taken.

We will need a short description organized under the headings below. We need these by November 1st, sent to LLL@cbh.kth.se. Write “H23” in subject.

How do I propose a course?

Are you proposing an offering of an already existing course?

In that case, what is the name and course code?

Planned period for the course: starting and finishing date.

Number of students: max and min

Changes, if any, compared to the last session of the course

Are you proposing a new course?

Then please supply us with the following information:

Course name:

Size of the course: no of hp/ECTS credits

Planned period: starting and finishing date

Eligibility: What are the necessary demands on previous learning or experience for the students to be able to take the course?

Mode of teaching and localization: eg distance learning/campus

Type of examination:

Number of places: max and min – your suggestion

Primary target group: This will not be displayed, but is a part of the evaluation

What happens after that?

After the course offering has been accepted, we will need a course plan in order to get the course established. Click here (pdf 358 kB) to read about the economic model for Lifelong learning courses (only in Swedish).
