New exchange agreements for 2020/2021
The autumn's agreement review has been completed and CBH has approved two proposals. Now, the next step is to start writing the agreements clearly, and hopefully we will be able to send students out next school year.
The two universities we are in contact with are
American University Beirut
(
MSFEA
) and
Universidad Politecnica Catalonia
(
EEBE School
). Both universities have an attractive course offering in English, are highly ranked regionally and have cities with a vibrant student life.
Since we submitted the proposals, popular protests have erupted in both Barcelona and Beirut. We are aware of this, but since there is a long time left until students will actually go there, we believe that we can still proceed with the agreements. Students' safety during the exchange is of first priority and we never send students to a city/region that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs DOES NOT recommend.
