Amelie on the work for KTH 200 years
CBH's Head of School Amelie Eriksson Karlström talks about the planning for KTH's 200th anniversary in 2027. She also encourages you to participate in the digital meetings that the jubilee office is holding at the end of April to hear what is going on.

KTH's 200th anniversary in 2027 may seem a long way off, but planning for the jubilee has been in full swing for a long time. The work is coordinated by a jubilee office that has been established at KTH. During the past six months, the school's management team and several departments have been visited by the jubilee office, which has informed about the planning and collected ideas from the organisation.
It has been possible to suggest activities for the anniversary year, for example if you have an idea for something special that KTH should showcase in connection with the celebrations, or if you are planning to organise a conference during the anniversary year, which could be included in the programme. At the end of April, there is now an opportunity for all staff to participate in digital meetings, where the anniversary office will present the ongoing work. There will be one meeting in Swedish and one in English.
Please take the opportunity to attend one of these digital meetings, to meet the KTH 200 Anniversary Office and hear what is going on! The plan is to celebrate throughout the year and the anniversary programme will include a variety of activities and festivities. I think it's great that KTH is such an old, venerable university and it's well worth celebrating. I look forward to 2027!
