Last week, a graduate school was organised at KTH in collaboration with Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), which is one of KTH's five strategic partner universities. The collaboration with SJTU started already in 2011 and the graduate school in Biomedical Engineering is an annual event that has been organised since the beginning.
The Graduate School is organised every other year in Shanghai and every other year in Stockholm (except during the pandemic), with doctoral students from both universities participating. This year, it was KTH's turn to host the event and it was organised by three researchers from the CBH School: Anna Herland, Dmitry Grishenkov and Cheng Zhang. They had put together a great programme with lectures, group work and visits to different labs and research infrastructures at KTH.
It was great that so many of the CBH School's employees had the opportunity to contribute to the graduate school and that the doctoral students got to see activities at Valhallavägen, Flemingsberg, Solna/SciLifeLab and AlbaNova. Many thanks to Anna and all the other participants for organising such a successful research school!
