Amelie about recruitments and promotions in 2022
Head of School Amelie Eriksson Karlström writes about the promotions and new recruitments that the CBH School made last year.
January has passed quickly and now we are already in February. At this time of year, we work a lot with following up on the previous year's activities and plans for the coming year's work. In addition to KTH's overall operational plan, which contains a series of tasks for the school, the CBH School has a number of its own action plans in various areas, which also need to be followed up. It's good to stop, collect information, and actually get an overview of everything that has been done during the year.
As the school's FFA, I have had a particular focus on teacher appointments and promotion matters. When we summarize 2022, we can see that the CBH School recruited two new assistant professors during the year, and that we got a new associate professor who moved from the EECS School to CBH. We have also happily had several promotions within the Tenure track system, with three assistant professors promoted to associate professors and four associate professors promoted to professors. At the CBH School, five new docents have also been appointed in 2022. It is nice to see that our teachers and researchers are making merit by carrying out high-quality research and education. I hope for an equally good 2023!
