Amelie about the start of the semester

Published Aug 17, 2023

This week, many people are back from the summer holidays and business is starting again at KTH. Reception activities are in full swing on our campuses.

On Monday, I had the opportunity to join and welcome the new students on two of our Master of Science in Engineering programmes. It's so fun to meet the new students, full of anticipation but a little nervous, during their first day at KTH! They have five eventful years ahead of them and will receive a very good education at KTH.

At KTH, several educational development projects are carried out within the framework of Future Education, with the aim of further improving our degree programmes. At CBH, we have chosen to work with projects that deal with increased recruitment, increased student completion, revision of master's programmes with few students, and evaluation of new forms of continuous assessment.

The financial situation at KTH means that a priority question is how we can save money and still maintain a high quality in education. I think that several of the school's projects can contribute to just that, and it will be exciting to see the outcome of the work!
