Work on the school’s agenda for change in full swing

Published Jun 12, 2024

Amelie Eriksson Karlström, Head of School, writes about the activities outlined in the CBH School’s agenda for change.

As I have written about before, the KTH President has recently decided on the operational plan for 2024-2026, which includes school agendas for change as an important part. We are now in full swing with several of the activities outlined in the CBH School Agenda for Change. This includes the review of education provision, launched by the President earlier this year. Here, we are already well advanced in developing a new Master's programme, which we hope to launch as early as the autumn term of 2025.

The Master's programme ‘Data-driven health’ will be offered by the MTH department in Flemingsberg and concerns the use of data from healthcare, society and the individual to improve and streamline healthcare and people's health. The programme will include courses in data processing, machine learning, simulation, healthcare logistics, etc. The programme will be a possible exit from the MSc in Medical Engineering at KTH, but we believe and hope that it will also attract students from other universities, both nationally and internationally. Some of the programme's courses already exist and will be co-taught with other programmes, while others are completely new and intensive work is now starting to develop these courses so that they can be in place at the start of the programme.
