CBH is looking for a programme director for the 3-year engineering programme in medical engineering

Job description

The duties of a PA include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Development: continuous programme development work based on the degree and programme objectives, attending meetings with the Director of First and Second Cycle Education, other PAs, programme administrators, counselors, teachers and student representatives, attending school undergraduate meetings, preparing for and participating in internal and external program evaluations, etc.
• Implementation: Assess and evaluate applications from international students including scholarship nominations, receive new students, arrange program councils and maintain regular contact with course coordinators within the program, update the curriculum (once a year), establish and decide on study plans for incoming and outgoing exchange students (incl. double degree students), credit courses (continuously), collaborate with other PAs when students change programs, meetings with students within the PA's program for academic guidance, check the schedule, write various certificates and reference letters, etc.
• Recruitment: Update information on the Programme's website and in printed material, represent the Programme at recruitment fairs, participate in the organization of study visits for international student groups, etc.

Competence requirements for PA at first and second cycle

Experience of teaching at first and second cycle, experience of being a course coordinator and examiner, and experience of conducting research with a doctoral degree. The PA must have training in teaching and learning in higher education and have the right to examine during their term of office.
