Christina Divne appointed as member of the new education board

Published Jul 04, 2019

The President has appointed the members of the recently established education board, which since 1 July replaces the education committee. Christina Divne, director of first cycle education at CBH, is one of them.

On 1 July, two new boards were formed at KTH. These become preparatory bodies directly under president Sigbritt Karlsson: an employment board which replaces the faculty council’s employment committee and an education board which replaces the education committee.

This follows on from a review of the mission of the faculty council and the president’s vision for developing collegial influence.

Case management regarding employment of teachers and educational issues is thereby withdrawn from the faculty council, which from 1 July is intended to have a clearer mission.

The recent education board consists of vice president for education Leif Kari, also chairperson, a deputy chairperson, and seven other members.

On 28 June, a president’s decision was taken to appoint Sofia Ritzén as deputy chairperson and to appoint Christina Divne, Lena Gumaelius, Maria Håkansson, Elling Jacobsen, Anna Jerbrant, Joakim Lilliesköld and Gunnar Tibert as members. The members are appointed indeterminately from 1 July 2019, and at the latest until 30 June 2023.
