On November 10 and 12, staff meetings were held at the CBH School. Here is a summary of the information, if you missed the meetings.

Staff

  • We are a total of 853 employees at the CBH School, 395 women and 458 men.
  • We currently have 97 ongoing recruitments.
  • We have 311 active doctoral students.

Financials

  • The CBH School has an annual turnover of around SEK 1,100 million.
  • External financing accounts for about half of the income.
  • The school has approximately 870 research projects with external funding and 70 EU projects.

Swedish Research Council Grants

  • The CBH School was granted 14 research grants in natural and technical sciences from the Swedish Research Council in 2021. Second best among KTH's schools.
  • The departments of Chemistry and Fiber and Polymer Technology are on the top five list for grants awarded at KTH.

Lifelong learning at CBH

Lifelong learning (LLL) will account for around twenty per cent of KTH's educational activities in a few years, and a faculty representative has been appointed to coordinate this work. Both at school level and centrally at KTH.

Professor Per Berglund is Coordinator for lifelong learning at CBH.
