Meet the international student ambassadors at CBH!
The international student ambassadors play an important role in the recruitment of new students to KTH. Many of those who are thinking about leaving their home country to study at KTH feel more comfortable asking questions to a student than to a teacher or programme Director. Meet the CBH school ambassadors for the academic year 24/25!
The happy bunch in the photo were recruited before the summer and photographed on a Sunday at the end of September at Villa Källhagen in Stockholm. There they had a full day of training and getting to know each other together with the other schools' student ambassadors, totalling around 60, and representatives from the schools.
The International Student Ambassadors (ISA) play an important role in answering questions from prospective students about what it is like to study on their particular programme. They also receive many questions about KTH in general, about Stockholm as a student city and about what career paths there are after the programme. Of course, there are also occasional questions about the weather and the dark winters.
Last academic year, the CBH Student Ambassadors together answered over 200 questions about the programme and student life, participated in webinars and campus films, and guided prospective students around campus. In April/May, the student ambassadors work for two weeks with the project Connect with a KTH student, where all admitted international students have the opportunity to book an hour on Zoom with the student ambassador or another student on the programme.
