Rebecka Charpentier is a new study counsellor at the CBH school. She will substitute for Sara Sabrie Edzén, who is on parental leave.
“It feels great to start at the CBH school! It is a very lovely group at the Education Office, and I have received a warm welcome from my colleagues.”

What did you do before?

"I have a degree in business administration with a focus on market and customer relations and have worked in the private sector in media, marketing and relationship building.

Later in life I trained as a behavioral scientist and graduated at Stockholm University in 2020. For the past year, I have worked as a study counsellor at the ABE school in a parental substitute position. It has been the most enjoyable year of my professional life and I am so happy that I get to continue at KTH and with you!"

What do you work with at CBH?

"I am a study counsellor for the Master of Science in Engineering in biotechnology and Technical preparatory year on Campus. This means that I provide service and guidance to our students regarding their course of study and their well-being during their studies at KTH. The conversations can be purely practical – for example about their study plan and study planning – but often it's also about mental health such as stress and performance anxiety."

In which questions can you be contacted?

"It can differ a lot which questions come up on the table. These are often student-specific questions, and we study counsellors also have contact with many different departments at KTH, such as Admissions, THS, FUNKA, the LADOK group and more."

What do you like to do when you're not working?

"In my spare time, I like to be in nature or work in the garden. I also enjoy singing and am in a women's choir. I also participate in KTH's staff choir when I have time - I can really recommend that!"
