Upcoming call within WISE: Funding for industrial PhD students and postdoctoral researchers
In April, the Wallenberg Initiative Material Science for Sustainability (WISE) will announce its first call for industrial PhD students and postdoctoral researcher positions in materials science for sustainability.
Wallenberg Initiative Material Science for Sustainability (WISE) is Sweden’s largest research programme in material science for a sustainable future. In total, the programme covers SEK 2.7 billion during the period 2022–2033.
WISE aims to create the conditions for a sustainable society, by researching the next generation of ecofriendly materials and manufacturing processes. Therefore, collaborations between industry and academia is of great importance for the WISE programme – for example, in the form of industrial PhDs and postdocs.
In April, WISE will open a call for funding for up to 12 industrial doctoral student positions and up to 12 industrial postdoctoral researcher positions within material science for sustainability.
Who can apply?
Researchers at KTH are invited to apply, in collaboration with Industries with Research and Development (R&D) operations in Sweden. Each project should include two principal investigators – one industrial and one academic. The industrial investigator and the academic investigator are both co-applicants.
