Collaboration within Energy Research 2020: planning larger funding applications

KTH Researcher can apply now for funding to plan larger funding applications within Energy Research.

The KTH Energy Platfrom will support activities and network within KTH with aim to establish or maintain multidisciplinary collaborations, supporting funding applications in energy related research and associated planning efforts. Funding of about SEK 50 000 per project can be disbursed during 2020. Deadline 15 November.

European Green Deal (ec.europa)  and Swedish Energy Agency new competence centers (Energimyndigheten)  are two large investments toward sustainable energy and climate action. The details of these call will be published during the fall of 2020 with deadlines for funding applications early 2021.

Proposals for projects addressing grant application writing, networking activities and social activities with aim to create larger consortium are welcome. We encourage consortium with at least two KTH schools involved.

Examples of activities that can be supported for building consortium:

  • Activities related to networking with external partners (private, public or research institute), travelling costs, fostering new or strengthening existing links.
  • Project looking at the current challenges within energy research and how to communicate to a wider audience – improving impact.
  • Grant application writing, incl. buying external support
