KTH fileservers

KTH provides file servers for both employees and students to store files.

Information about the file system and how you can access your files from different operating systems or from a browser is found here.

Storage of research data

Information about the different storage options available to researchers working at KTH (depending on the amount and type of data).

KTH client backup

KTH Client Backup - Crashplan is software that can be ordered and is used to back up your local files and data.

Save your files regulary!

Saving your files frequently minimises the risk of losing your files if, for example, a program crashes or network access is lost.

If an accident happens and you haven't been saving your files continuously, there is a small chance that your work can still be restored.

If you are working with a file saved in KTH OneDrive, you can read more through the links we refer to at Manage files and folders in KTH OneDrive  under the heading "Restore deleted files and folders in OneDrive". If your files where stored in anoter location, please Contact KTH IT-Support  and we will do our best to help you.
