In order to be able to work in the Service Management System, you need to have access to the system. It is also good to take a course in the Edge system, which can be found in Canvas.
Order
You who want to have Edge access need to be an employee or consultant.

KTH IT-support needs to know:
Username for the person.
What view the person should have in the left column.
The access to support groups is managed by the local support group administrator for the support group.
Facts
Access to Edge is in 3 parts.
Access to the system Edge - order from KTH IT-Support as described above.
This access is synchronized once every night. So login can be done at earliest the day after reply from KTH IT-Support.
Access to the views in the left column at your school/department - order from KTH IT-Support at the same time.
To be able to connect the right school/department views, an attempt to log in has to be done in Edge. The login does not have to be successful, so you can try to log in even before step 1 (above) is finished.
Access to a support group and the tickets - is managed by the support groups administrator at your school/department.
A support person can be added before step 1 and 2, even that the person cannot log in to Edge.
