About the talk

Our memories and experiences can tell us something about the structures and assumptions that shape everyday life. Memory work offers a way of returning to those experiences and looking at them from new perspectives.

In this talk, Anna Wahl will introduce memory work as a way of reflecting on gender and power. By revisiting experiences that may initially seem ordinary or self-evident, we can begin to see underlying norms, assumptions and power relations – and open up space for other ways of thinking.

The evening will also explore how memories and experiences can become material for imagination and writing.
