Allocation of responsibilities

Find out what you as an employee are expected to do in a crisis situation. The role of the crisis team is to manage crises in a professional manner. The group should convene immediately if a crisis situation arises and decide on the measures to be taken. Normal operations should continue as far as possible, as should normal management functions not affected by the crisis.

Employees

Expectations

Each employee must know their immediate local support within security. For example, knowing where the emergency exits, assembly points, defibrillators and the like are. Also, act as evacuation leader in case of fire alarm and report in the IA system for prevention.

Responsibility

Employees should find out what applies in security areas via KTH's and the school's internal pages. New employees have mandatory attendance at the introduction for new employees where vital information is given about safety. All employees must complete the Introduction to Fire Safety course (Swe) .

Leadership

Expectations

Managers are expected to act as role models and continuously inform the school and KTH about safety.

Responsibility

Appointed managers are responsible for following the delegation procedure for the school.

Crisis organisation

Expectations

The crisis organisation must be available during office hours, act together in the event of an incident and take the lead in its profession in the event of an incident.

Responsibility

The crisis organisation must act, prioritise and delegate during an incident. Afterwards, the crisis organisation is responsible for evaluating the incident, following up measures, and ensuring a sustainable emergency preparedness-before-crisis organisation within the school.

For full procedures and responsibilities, see Local Crisis Plan ITM (Swe).
