A decision that has been taken by the President according to the SCI School's proposal.
– Anna was nominated by several people at the SCI school and has a very strong interest in KTH and gender equality issues at the same time as she is having a successful research activity. I am very pleased that the President has now decided that she will be our new Vice Dean of School, said Leif Kari, Dean of SCI School.

Anna Delin, who arrived to the SCI School from ICT School in January 2017, is Professor of Computational Nanomagnetism at the Material Physics unit in Kista, Department of Applied Physics. She will now leave the mentioned last three missions as the role of Vice Dean will cover 70 percent of her position and she hopes to spend the remaining time on research.
– In addition to my office in Kista, I will also have an office in the same building as Dean of School at Teknikringen 8 at KTH campus, Anna Delin said and continued,
– In my point of view the assignment of Vice Dean of School is to be responsible for faculty development and recruitment. My guiding principle in this work is quality - to recruit the best, to have efficient processes, work long-term and strategically, and to integrate a gender perspective into every aspect, she said.
