Fredrik Lundell appointed to the Swedish Research Council’s Committee for Engineering Sciences

Fredrik Lundell, Professor of Experimental Fluid Mechanics and Head of the Department of Engineering Mechanics, has been appointed as a member of the Swedish Research Council’s Committee for Engineering Sciences.
The term runs from 1 October 2025 to 31 December 2027. The committee has eleven members and is responsible for new initiatives in engineering that the Council has been assigned in the Government’s research bill, including the programme on excellence clusters for breakthrough technologies. It works in coordination with the current subject council for natural and engineering sciences, develops ways of working for cross-sector and cross-disciplinary collaboration, and monitors developments in engineering sciences at large.
