University Board
The University Board oversees all the affairs of the University and is responsible for the performance of its duties.
Responsibilities and tasks
The University Board is the highest decision-making body of the University. Under the Higher Education Act, the Board oversees all the University's affairs and is responsible for ensuring that its duties are fulfilled. The Board's tasks are specified in the Higher Education Ordinance, among others. These tasks relate to both matters of principle, such as deciding on the overall direction of activities and the university's organization, and more specific tasks such as the annual report and other matters relating to internal governance and control.
The Composition of the Board
The University Board is composed of a Chair and 14 other members as follows
- a Chair and seven other external members
- KTH:s president
- three faculty members
- three student members.
Term of office: October 1, 2024 - April 30, 2028.
