Every academic year, approximately two weeks before the start of the semester, the so-called Reception is held – you may have seen groups of students dressed in overalls dancing and singing when you return to the KTH Campus after the summer break. But the Reception for new students is more than just dancing and music on campus. The Reception is a significant organisational effort that KTH and THS carry out to give all new students a welcoming and good start to their studies at KTH.
In this pre-recorded episode of the Fika Chat podcast, you will meet staff and students responsible for the Reception, and new students on the Roll-Call Day, Student Union Day and the Welcome ceremony at the City Hall.
