Guests: Students, teachers and alumni

Along Brinellvägen on the KTH Campus lies a garage where nearly a hundred students spend several hours a day building and preparing for participation in the world’s largest engineering competition, Formula Student. How is this student-led initiative organised? In what ways does working on cars support student learning and enhance their prospects in the job market? Is it desirable and feasible—and if so, how—to integrate the project into KTH’s formal education?

In this pre-recorded episode, podcast host Marcus Lithander visits the garage to see the car and meet the responsible students Albin Eriksson (project manager) and Alexander Ekman (head of business and marketing), joined by alumni Emil Tagesson and faculty advisor Mikael Nybacka.
