Matchmaking early-career academics at Aalto University, Finland

The deadline to apply is 23 May 2025. Then KTH professor Rahmat Khodabandeh will select the participants and nominate to Aalto.

You should indicate in the application which of the hosts at Aalto that fit with your research interest.

Aalto University in Helsinki is organizing a matchmaking session for early-career researchers during the Unite! Dialogue in October for the nine member universities.

Each Aalto host will organize a two-and-a-half-day program from 7 to 9 October 2025 for a small group of early-career academics from their own field of research and/or teaching, coming from Unite! universities.

KTH can nominate five early-career researchers from KTH to participate. You can find more information about the initiative, including the Aalto hosts and their research topics on Matchmaking early-career academics (aalto.fi) .

KTH will cover the cost for travel and hotel. The event aims at researchers who have received the PhD and are now in the beginning of their research careers.
