External funding for international activities
With support from the Unit for International Relations, KTH can seek funding for various forms of international activities, mainly within education. KTH leads and participates in several international education and innovation projects made possible by funding from the European Commission, the Swedish Institute and STINT.
The Unit for International Relations (IRO) at KTH employs administrators who provide support for many different projects related to education and innovation. The projects can cover several different areas, such as capacity building, quality enhancement, joint educational programmes and mobility for students, doctoral students, researchers and administrative staff.
KTH seeks funding through several different bodies, for example:
- The European Commission
- The Swedish Institute
- The Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education (STINT)
IRO disseminates information about calls via, among other things, KTH's internal pages and newsletters, and can provide support.
