Share screen in breakout rooms

Breakout rooms are a common way to increase interactivity in a Zoom meeting, for example, by creating group discussions in smaller rooms. Read about how to share your screen from the main meeting into the separate breakout rooms.

If you have version 5.7 or later of the Zoom application, you can share your screen from the main meeting to the separate breakouts room in the meeting. The function thus helps you to coordinate the meeting's matters and flow. The prerequisite for sharing a screen in a breakout room is that you are "Host" for the meeting.
