Lifelong learning

Freestanding courses are not part of any of KTH's programmes. Anyone can apply, whether or not they are a current student at KTH. This type of course can also be called independent course or self-contained course.

The majority of freestanding courses are direct government funded continuing professional development, in other words courses for professionals. KTH's freestanding courses are mainly aimed at professionals who want to continue their education or develop their skills.
