Noah Wisdom: Algebraic K-theory of Green functors

Abstract: From a category of modules, algebraic K-theory produces a ring spectrum, whose homotopy groups contain rich arithmetic information. In this talk, I'll introduce Green functors and their modules, and explain how they arise in equivariant algebraic topology. Then we will compute the K-theory of some nice examples.
