Overview of the Cross-Track Wind Sensor for the SYSTER Rocket Campaign

The upcoming SYSTER rocket campaign will host the Cross-Track Wind Sensor, developed at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), which provides a measure of neutral gas motion along the rocket flight path. This talk will introduce the UTD Center for Space Sciences including an overview of major research objectives. The CTWS method of operation, development and recent test results will be presented.
