Literature search with smart tools
Tools that use artificial intelligence to help you keep track of current research and find literature are developed at a rapid pace. At this workshop you get to try a few of them.
Time: Fri 2024-09-20 10.15 - 12.00
Location: Zoom – no registration
Language: English
Participating: Agne Larsson and Magdalena Svanberg, KTH Library
In traditional bibliographic databases, you can perform structured searches with search terms combined with boolean operators. New tools claim that they can help you find literature with less effort, using artificial intelligence and algorithms.
In this workshop we will explore a few of these search tools. We will try to figure out how they work and when they might be useful.
This workshop is for doctoral students and researchers. Doctoral students and researchers at other universities are welcome to sign up. The language of the workshop is English.
