Sustainability at KTH, 19 Aug

KTH Sustainabilty Office welcomes the public, students and colleagues to KTH Campus for a day about sustainability, circular economy and mobility. Take the opportunity to recycle what no longer gives you joy at Stockholm Vatten and Avfall's Pop-up ReUse Container and learn DIY bike service online August 19. You can also participate in webinars about Sustainability at KTH, how to get involved in student projects and meet and discuss climate issues in the Climate Collage workshops.

In collaboration with KTH Innovation, Akademiska Hus, Stockholm Vatten och Avfall, Klimatstudenterna and KTH Students for Sustainability.

POP-UP Reuse container Valhallavägen 79

August 19-23, Valhallavägen 79   you can get recycle items you no longer want to keep at Stockholm Vatten och Avfalls Pop-up Recycling container. The staff will help you sort out what can be reused and what should be left for recycling.

Pop-up recycling is available in places that are adapted for you who walk or cycle. You can borrow a box bike from us to transport your stuff and it's free.

THINGS YOU CAN LEAVE FOR RECYCLING:

• Broken things
• Batteries
• Detergent
• Old paint and spray cans
• Nail polish
• Smaller electronics (think the same size as a microwave oven)

THINGS YOU CAN LEAVE FOR REUSE:

• Clothes and shoes
• Smaller furniture
• Furnishings
• Kitchen equipment
• Sports equipment
• Electronics

At KTH we are into biking and repurposing. Every year KTH and Akademiska Hus find abandonned bikes on campuses and work to find them new homes.

We've upcycled two bikes and one of them could be yours. You just need to answer a few question to enter to win.
