KTH Sustainabilty Office welcomes the public, students and colleagues to KTH Campus for a day about sustainability, circular economy and mobility. Take the opportunity to recycle what no longer gives you joy at Stockholm Vatten and Avfall's Pop-up ReUse Container and learn DIY bike service online August 19. You can also participate in webinars about Sustainability at KTH, how to get involved in student projects and meet and discuss climate issues in the Climate Collage workshops.

It takes a village to solve global sustainbility issues. KTH Sustainabilty Office works to integrate Sustainability across all levels of our campuses together with engaged students, staff, faculty, alumni, and partners. This presentation is a part of Klimatstudenterna-KTH project focusing on creating awareness and collaborations in the sub-domain of sustainable travels within the university level. It encapsulates the intent behind taking this initiative of aligning policies and decisions with the KTH Climate Framework which is further in line with the Paris Agreement. The presentation is complemented by providing real life examples of students opting for sustainable modes of transport within Europe and followed by an open discussion where attendees can ask questions to the concerned members regarding these initiatives.
“The Climate Collage is a serious game about climate change, based on collective intelligence and creativity. Whether you’re completely new to the topic or quite savvy, you can play the Climate Collage. In 3 hours’ time, you will retrace the IPCC’s reasoning and you may even have fun doing it! You’ll also have the opportunity to discuss the consequences, challenges and changes that you see are coming or should be coming.”
How to particpate: 8 different sessions will be held during the day
Meet KTH students Jasmin Sabir and Niklas Johansson, who are taking on waste and overproduction in two of the world’s biggest industries: food and beauty.
Ellure - Jasmin will tell the story of how a team of KTH students founded Ellure, built a lipstick printer from scratch, and how they’re now bringing personalization and a no-waste mindset to an industry where overproduction is the norm.
Fooin - Niklas will share how he and his teammates founded Fooin to help grocery stores take kilogram by kilogram off the 1,2 million tons of food that Swedish stores throw away every year.

Meet Karin Sundin from Stockholm Vatten och Avfalland project manager for Pop-up Reuse Container. Karin will tell us about how Stockholm is working to reduce and reuse waste.
Learn how to engage with groups, projects and resources at KTH. Presented by the student association KTH Students for Sustaianbility (KTH SforS). The seminar is 45-60 min and will cover a range of opportunities and organisations to engage with at KTH. You are welcome to participate with questions and additions from your own interest/experience.

you can get recycle items you no longer want to keep at Stockholm Vatten och Avfalls Pop-up Recycling container. The staff will help you sort out what can be reused and what should be left for recycling.
Pop-up recycling is available in places that are adapted for you who walk or cycle. You can borrow a box bike from us to transport your stuff and it's free.
