Ann Lantz continues as Head of School at EECS

President Anders Söderholm has appointed Ann Lantz as Head of the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS).

Lantz will continue in the role she originally took over in February 2023.

With official start on 1 January 2024, she looks forward to continuing to lead EECS.

"I am grateful and honoured to be entrusted with the continued leadership of EECS. We will now work to establish the school's new management structure and contribute to the best possible implementation of the campus move, the faculty board and all the other changes that are now underway. It will be an exciting time ahead and I am pleased to be able to contribute to the school's further development," Lantz says.

Söderholm is pleased that Lantz has agreed to continue.

"KTH is entering a period with many changes, and we believe Ann's experience and leadership can contribute making sure e the process is carried out in the best possible way. I look forward to continuing to work with Ann," he says.

About Ann Lantz

Ann Lantz is a behavioural scientist and professor of human-computer interaction. Her research has focused use of email and digital meeting systems, procurement, accessibility and challenge-driven education. In 2018, she was appointed deputy head of school and director of first and second-cycle education. She became acting head of school in February 2023.
