An agreement on educational cooperation within a new international master's program in biostatistics and computer science between Karolinska Institutet, KTH and Stockholm University has been concluded.

The program starts in the autumn semester of 2024 and leads to a joint degree of 120 credits which is issued and signed by all three universities in a joint degree certificate. Work on drawing up the agreement has been ongoing since spring 2022.

All three universities

A focus in the work on the agreement has been that the students on the upcoming program, as far as it is possible, should experience that they are program students just as much at Karolinska Institutet as at KTH as at Stockholm University. In the development of the agreement, different parts of the administrations at the three universities have collaborated in their respective areas.

In connection with the steering group meeting in Stockholm trio on 7 June 2023, academic representatives and officials who have been involved in the work gathered and the three Presidents signed the agreement.
