Information from CBH management
Until 15 August 2021, we temporarily work from home and were mostly teaching remotely at the CBH School, in accordance with the President’s decision and the Swedish Public Health Agency's recommendations. The call to work from home ended on 16 August.
From the start of the autumn term, the campus will open up for on-site teaching in accordance with the Swedish Public Health Agency's recommendations. It is a most welcome decision after three semesters of distance education and telework, but unfortunately, we see that the autumn term will once again be marked by the pandemic. The news reports of rising Covid-19 infections, but continued vaccinations will hopefully make the situation manageable. We want all of you to know that the school’s management and all department heads are aware of this situation. In our workgroups – and together with our employees and students – we will work to create a functioning work environment for us all, in accordance with KTH's formulation:
”Activities and operations shall be planned to avoid close physical contact and crowding. Coordination shall take place around the use of common premises and general spaces where employees from several organizational units gather at the same time. Support and services should be adapted accordingly.”
This will be done through dialogue and communication, and we encourage everyone to continue the good cooperation that has characterized our work during the time of the pandemic. For staff with regulated working hours (technical and administrative staff), any work from home must from here on be regulated by individual teleworking agreements between the employee and his or her manager. The administrative manager is responsible for organizing this, in dialogue with all managers in the administrative support. As before, staff with non-regulated working hours are expected to be on-site when their work tasks so require.
In order for the autumn term to be as good as possible, it is important that we all think about continuing to follow rules and general advice. The most important preventive measures include staying home at the slightest symptom, accepting the offer to get vaccinated and remembering to keep your distance in all situations.
