In 2020, the CBH School decided to establish an International Advisory Group (IAG) working long-term with strategically important issues of an international nature, like exchange studies, staff mobility and strategic research collaborations for example.

“Due to Covid-19, IAG's work didn't really take off, but now we have started all over. The group has met during the spring and will continue its work during the fall semester,” says Eva Malmström, chair of the group.

The IAG is advisory to CBH's Head of school, GA, deputy GA and management team. The group will work with exchange studies including CBH's exchange agreements, fee-paying students, international educational collaborations, staff mobility, strategic research collaborations, and other types of international cooperation. The IAG will not deal with “ordinary” “bi/multilateral research collaborations”.

According to the decision at the time of its formation, IAG should develop a long-term strategy for exchange studies at CBH, contribute to increasing the number of fee-paying students at CBH, in cooperation with CBH Impact leaders contribute to increasing the international impact of CBH's operations, and otherwise work to ensure that CBH and KTH achieves its goals in areas relevant to IAG.

“Please do not hesitate to contact any of us if you have any ideas or thoughts that will help us develop our work,” says Eva Malmström.

IAG consists of teacher representatives: Monica Ek, Antonius Van Maris, Massimiliano Colarieti Tosti and Christofer Lendel and representatives from the support function: Annelie Fredriksson, David Grenot, Maria Orgmetz, Sofia Ellström Tanzawa and Per Dalhammar. The chair of the group is Eva Malmström, who also represents CBH in the corresponding grouping at KTH level.
