Amelie on the new organisation of VS
Head of School Amelie Eriksson Karlström writes about the reorganisation of the operational support within HR, finance and communication.
In December, the President decided on a new direction for the organisation of KTH's operational support and from 1 April there will be some changes. The operational support within HR, finance and communication will be co-organised within each area so that there will be a coherent organisation across KTH.
At the same time, other operational support at the school will be reorganised in a school office to better meet the needs of support for the school's management, faculty board and departments. This school office includes the management office, education administration and service and infrastructure. Marie Larson will lead the new CBH School Office, leaving her previous role as Administrative Manager at the CBH School.
Not all functions are in place yet, but we hope to provide clear information on the new organisation soon. In the meantime, however, it is good to know that everyone in operational support, including HR and finance, continues to support the departments as before, despite the reorganisation.
