Amelie about the Faculty Board
Head of School Amelie Eriksson Karlström writes about the CBH School's newly established Faculty Board and presents the external members.
Next week, it is time for the first meeting of the school's newly established Faculty Board. It will be a preparatory and decision-making body for various strategic issues in research and education. KTH’s President is organising a kick-off for all the schools' faculty boards this week, to give all board members the opportunity to meet and to inform about the boards' tasks, working methods and strategic role. The meeting will also include a discussion on how KTH can best continue the development of a collegial organisation and culture. I look forward to meeting all members of the CBH Faculty Board and getting started with the work!
In addition to the school's teacher members, who were appointed after the collegial election in December, the board will consist of student representatives and external members, as well as representatives of the employee organisations who have the right to attend and speak.
We are delighted to present our two external members: Mikael Hannus, Head of Innovation at Stora Enso, and Heléne Spjuth, Head of Unit at the Centre for Health Data at Region Stockholm. They both have extensive knowledge in relevant areas and represent organisations that are very important to the CBH School. I look forward to getting to know them better and to their contribution to the School's strategic discussions.
