Amelie on KTH's educational offerings

Published Jan 31, 2024

Head of School Amelie Karlström Eriksson writes about the work of reviewing KTH's educational programmes.

On Monday, I was at a full-day meeting devoted to discussing KTH's educational offerings. In KTH’s vision and overall goals for 2024-2028, the goals for KTH's development are described and there you can read, among other things, that the education provided should be of the highest quality, internationally competitive and meet the labour market's need for a highly qualified workforce.

Based on this new policy document, the President has now initiated work to review the educational offerings at KTH. At Monday's initial meeting, we had long and interesting group discussions about the objectives of KTH's various types of educational programmes and what should guide the schools' priorities and development of the educational offerings.

At CBH we have education at all levels and I know that there are many ideas among the school's teachers on how the programmes could be developed in the future. Monday's meeting was a start of a larger work that will be conducted at KTH, where we at the school will have the opportunity to develop proposals on how we want to develop our education programmes.
