Meet the new international student ambassadors!
For every academic year, we hire an international student ambassador for every master’s programme at KTH. The happy bunch of students in the picture were hired for CBH before summer and their photograph was taken outside Skeppsholmens hotel a Saturday in the beginning of October. They then had a full day of education and a chance to get to know each other better, together with student ambassadors from the other schools at KTH – 60 in total – and representatives from the schools.
The international student ambassadors (ISA) have an important role (ISA) when it comes to recruiting international students. They answer questions from prospective students who wonder what it’s like to study at their master’s programme. They also get a lot of questions about KTH in general, about Stockholm as a student city and about possible careers. If there’s something we really know, it’s that prospective students want to ask their question to other students when they are curious about KTH.
Last academic year, the ISA from CBH together answered over 200 questions about the education and student life. They participated in webinars and some of them were extras in the campus films we made. In April/Maj every year, the ambassadors are engaged in the Connect with a KTH student project, where all admitted international students get an email with the possibility to book a one our long session on Zoom with the ISA, to be able to ask all the questions they want (at some programmes with many admitted students, we hire more students to work with the project).
The questions to the ISA reaches them through a form on the programme web for each master’s programme, where you can also find an interview with every student ambassador. Would you like to get to know our international student ambassadors a bit better? Click on the links below and scroll down.
