Course memo

For each course round, there shall be a course memo that completes the information in the course syllabus. The course memo shall contain information that the students need to follow and fulfill the course. It can, e.g. be details about the course implementation and the forms of examination.

Create a course memo

To create a course memo, follow the instructions on the page Create and publish a new course memo .

Course memos for all courses at EECS shall also include information on the code of honor and compensatory support for students with disabilities, see the information below.

Since previous year's course memo's can be copied, you only need to enter the texts once per course.

For more information on course memo please see Course memo  at KTH's central intranet.

Code of honor

Information about the school's code of honor shall be entered in the course memo under "Ethical approach" by clicking "Include additional section". Enter the subheading "Code of honor" and the text:

In this course, the EECS code of honor applies, see: http://www.kth.se/en/eecs/utbildning/hederskodex.

Compensatory support for students with disabilities

All course coordinators/examiners must enter a supplementary text in the course memo due to a previous decision at EECS. This can be done in the following way:

Under the section "Support for students with disabilities" in the course memo generator, a text about support for students with disabilities has already been entered. In addition to this, the following information on R and P support related to EECS should be entered by clicking "Include additional section" and "Edit":

Please inform the course coordinator if you have special needs not related to the written exam, and show your certificate from Funka.

  • Support measures under code R (i.e. adjustments related to space, time, and physical circumstances, e.g. longer writing time) are always granted.
  • Support measures under code P (pedagogical measures) may be granted or rejected by the examiner after you have applied for this in accordance with KTH rules. Support measures under code P are usually always granted for courses given at EECS.
