Teaching teams
For some of EECS' courses, the course work shall be conducted in a teaching team (decision by head of school J-2020-2546). A teaching team should support the continuous pedagogical improvement work within the courses and ensure that teachers in large compulsory courses can be replaced in the event of illness or absence for other reasons. Teaching teams can be found within a department, across one or across several departments. Meetings must be held at least once each semester to plan the next semester.
Continuous quality work
The teacher teams report the follow-up of the courses to the head of director of studies and supports
- the school's quality processes; work with Learning Experience Questionnaire (LEQ), follow-ups of course analyses, link meetings, and support for programme analyses
- continuous pedagogical course development
- continuous development of course offerings (efficient and clearer course offerings)
- implementation of "critical friends".
The head of director of studies is responsible for
- planning the staffing of courses and pedagogical development projects (the teacher teams provide suggestions)
- annual follow-up of course analyses, monitoring that the analyses are being carried out and published.
Task formulations
To ensure that our students receive clear and distinct task formulations, the examiner is responsible for ensuring that the tasks are well designed. To ensure that this is the case, you as a teacher can advantageously request a preview of another teacher before the assignments are handed out to the students. The other teacher can be in a teaching team working in the same course, or another suitable counterpart.
