Course evaluation and course analysis
Course evaluation board
Students have the right to influence and each course should therefore have a course evaluation board.
It is the course coordinator's task to appoint a course evaluation board. The course evaluation board should be appointed at the beginning of the course and can, as a suggestion, consist of two or three volunteer students on the course. The course evaluation board should gather opinions from other course participants and present these opinions to the course coordinator with the aim of improving the teaching during the current course. The way the meetings take place can vary, for example, it can be done in the form of lunch meetings, shorter meetings in connection with lectures or course evaluations. For larger courses, the course coordinator should call a course evaluation board meeting in the middle of the course. The course evaluation board should provide feedback to the course participants and can also communicate information from teachers to the course participants.
Carry out course evaluation and course analysis
A course evaluation is the students' evaluation (experiences and views) of the course, obtained, for example, through a course questionnaire and course board meetings. A course analysis is the course teacher's analysis of the course based on the course results, course evaluation and the teachers' experience.
