Compensatory support for students with disabilities

All students with different types of disabilities are entitled to support of various kinds to be able to study at KTH on the same terms as other students.

Adapted examination

The GA group at EECS has, in consultation with the school's Directors of Studies, decided that we will deal with the issue of adapted examinations for students with disabilities by approving support measures under code R and P in general. This means that an active decision by the examiner will only be required if a recommended support measure under code P cannot be granted. According to instructions from central KTH this decision must be stated in a formal decision. A form for this and a list of specified support measures under code R and P are available on KTH's intranet (in Swedish): Hantera stödinsatser vid examination av studenter med funktionsnedsättning .

Information in your course memo (kurs-PM)

All course coordinators/examiners shall, in accordance with previous decision at EECS, enter supplementary text in the course memo and notify the students orally at the course introduction, see information on the page Course memo .

On-campus written examination

The exam administrators will be aware of any Funka-students when the students register for an examination. Students with certain needs for support must, prior to each examination, report their need for support via web form on the student web .
