Project grants 2026
The Foundation supports research projects with high scientific potential. Projects should be focused on a coherent research question. An application can be made by an individual researcher or by a research group associated to a Swedish institution of higher education.
If you plan to apply for grants from the MAW Foundation, you will need to contact the Research Support Office to check the internal nomination process and to get a template for the support letter.
The call opens on 1 March 2026 Send us your documentation for the support letter by 24 March 2026, at the latest, in order to get it signed by our President in time.
