Welcome to workshop and afterwork on Future Urban Mining
An inter-platform event organized by the Platforms of Energy and Industrial Transformation
INVITATION
The main goal of this inter-platform workshop 3 December on Future Urban Mining is to gather possible actors at KTH and other stakeholders to drive applications and research activities for breaking the present linear and energy costly material cycle. An afterwork 6 December will be an informal follow-up of the workshop and possibly a place for brainstorming new ideas.
We are pleased to announce an inter-platform workshop with focus on Future Urban Mining. It is organized jointly by the KTH Energy and Industrial Transformation platforms.
The main goal will be to gather possible actors at KTH and other stakeholders to drive applications and research activities for breaking the present linear and energy costly material cycle.
Workshop 3 December
The first workshop will take place Tuesday 3 December, 14:30-15:30 in Logos (Teknikringen 42, våning 6). Save the date in your calendar.
It is an open workshop and all interested KTH researchers are welcome.
The objective of this workshop will be to:
- get an overview of the actors at KTH,
- establish the driving research questions,
- identify which partners/stakeholder that would be needed,
- decide on the next meeting.
The event will be open to everybody and we would need some people to give a pitch and inspire others - typically give a 2min pitch + 1 slide to give a flavor of your research and how you see it could contribute to the topic.
After work 6 December
We will also organize an afterwork 6 December at 16:00 at Nymble/StudentKårPub and you're welcome to join. It will be an informal follow-up of the meeting and possibly a place for brainstorming new ideas.
Welcome!
Kerstin Forsberg (KTH Industial Transformation Platform) and Christophe Duwig (KTH Energy Platform)
