Software for private use

As a rule, KTH owned software may not be installed on private computers or other private hardware unless it is explicitly stated in the license terms of the manufacturer or that it is governed by the license agreement.

Certain agreements concerning software used by most of KTH's schools, which cover the user groups: students, researchers, teachers and administrative staff at KTH, may have an option that allows installation on a private computer.

This possibility is conditional upon the software being used to perform tasks at KTH and is installed on a KTH computer first.
