Apple ADE for Apple devices
To make it easier to configure and distribute Apple products, KTH is using Apple:s service ADE – Automated Device Enrollment.
Here you can find information on how to set it up when starting your Apple device the first time.
What is ADE?
Through the program for device registration (ADE) KTH can configure and put Apple devices in to operation. With ADE it is fast and easy to put KTH owned iPads, iPhones, Mac-computers and Apple TVs, which are bought directly from Apple or a authourized Apple shop or operator, into opration.
KTH is using ADE to make it easier for users and the IT-department to:
- easier configure without physical management by the IT-department
- a smooth settings assistant
Start the Apple device the first time
The first time you start a ADE-connected Apple device you will be led through a setup procedure.
