2. The admission form and other documents are then emailed to the Head of the Department, who signs the admission form and forwards it to the Program Director for the doctoral program (PA).

3. The PA reviews the form and ensures that all information is filled out correctly, including the correct doctoral program and any specialization, and sends the documents to the School's Office of Student Affairs at SCI, fou@sci.kth.se .

4. The School Office prepares the documents for the FA, who approves the supervisor and recommends eligibility assessment.

5. The Head of School admits the doctoral student, and the date of admission is the date when the Head of School signs.

6. The Schools Doctoral studies officer (FoU) sends the information to Ladok for registration/admission.

7. Once the doctoral student is registered and admitted, the FoU officers informs the supervisor, PA, doctoral student, and HR at the doctoral student's owning institution about the admission.

8. When the doctoral student is in place, an Individual Study Plan (eISP) must be created within 1 month. The doctoral student must have registered the thesis in Ladok before the ISP can be created. The main supervisor initiates the creation of the first ISP. Eligibility for assistant supervisors who are not employed at KTH can be applied for through this link: Request an eISP account for supervisors.
