SCI MakerSpace

Work in progress! These pages are aimed to describe the ongoing work to establish the SCI MakerSpace ahead of its planned opening in spring 2027.

SCI MakerSpace at Teknikringen 8 is an open and welcoming environment for students and teachers. Here, you can design, build, test and develop projects in a space used for courses, while also work on your own projects and collaboration across programmes and subject areas.

A space for everyone

SCI MakerSpace is easy to use, whether you have previous experience or are trying things out for the first time. It offers place for project work and collaboration, clear procedures for access and use of equipment, introductions and safety training, as well as a welcoming lounge area. MakerSpace is a place where you can work hands-on, meet others and develop ideas together in an environment that feels safe, clear and vibrant.
